Looking for any reason to pull a "gun grab". I don't know how anybody can say "they're not coming after your gun" anymore.

A want is different than what will happen. Remember that when the topic of a gun grab was hot and people were being interviewed a vast majority said they would never follow through with those orders.
I would be very surprised if that ever took place, at least in our lifetime.
In the end Obama wants a lot of shit that won't happen. Even more that is taken out of context. I personally think the guy is a tool, but it's not in his power to do anything he wants. A lot of the blame comes on the a group of people that know nothing but politics and in my view have simply lost touch with reality. Even new politicians who have a good grasp on things when they enter that sector and look to promote change get caught up in the financial mess that is needed to fund their campaigns.
I don't feel much will ever change until corporate money is removed from politics and representatives become true voices for the people.

Politics is all about who has more money. They will pretty much do anything that gets votes and that is all that matters.
They just aired on the news here over the weekend a reporter on a tip went to las Vegas. That politicians were meeting big corporation leaders to vote on upcoming votes in congress. So that when the politicians go back to vote, they can vote on what was decided in secret by the heads these corporation's and the politicians.
I fully agree voting in the country is a sham. Im to the point where I would love to see the republican and democratic parties disbanded all together and just have everything free lance. That way no one is obligated to make decisions based on what a specific party wants to have done on there agenda

First we cant fly the american flag on a mexican holiday in some parts of the country,
now our armed forces cant wear there uniforms at recruiting centers.
I see so the logic is bad guys will see the sign out front that stated recruiting center but now they'll just turn away thinking there cant possibly be any military personnel in there, the sign must be mistaken.
Where did these degenerates running our country come from. But I guess when you give the degenerates of our country all the power to vote them into office I guess what should I expect.

^ True, it's quite a small population, and obviously they will not take away all social security recipients' rights to own firearms. If so, that would incite a revolution, because it seems most of the people who really fight for the constitution are much older than us.
I agree with disallowing certain folks like felons from having guns, it just makes sense. But I find the "no gun" (sitting duck) zones ridiculous. The previously posted comic spells it out very well. Law abiding citizens follow these signs, criminals do not. My dad specifically does not give those places his business, and I completely understand the logic.
I can carry a weapon, but I choose not to, because I like to go out to happy hour sometimes after work, and I think it would irresponsible for me to carry during those times. But I keep one close at home, and I really like the firing range

Gun free zones seem to get a lot of hype. It's my understanding that, at least in Minnesota, it's a petty misdemeanor to carry a gun into any private business that doesn't allow guns - IF the establishment asks you to leave and you refuse.
I would bet those who understand the law and keep things concealed ignore those signs all the time. I know I would.
