Re: Stock Boost PSI on a 199o Laser.

Sorry to bring this back up. but while i am fixing things on my car, I need to try and figure out the boost creep. Along with porting my wastegate, would it be better to go with the Evo 3 O2 housing, or a tubular one like megan racing one. The only reason i was thinking about the Megan Racing one is cause its the same company as my downpipe.

Thanks

A better flowing o2 housing can help with boost creep, such as the Megan racing tubular one. The evo 3 one is fine but it will put your downpipe at a wierd angle. Personally when I started getting boost creep I just added the mods to support that 18+psi so I didn't have to deal with creep anymore.

Good point. I plan on getting a couple things done this weekend. Mainly emissions removal, fuel pump rewire, egr delete, and just some other little things.

Re: Stock Boost PSI on a 199o Laser.

Quick question on the emissions removal. I plan on removing my charcoal canister also. Everything i have read just says to run a line a foot or so under the car and let it vent. My question is that with my side exit exhaust is this gonna cause an issue? I really dont want to have anything bad happen. Thanks.
