Figure this. 300/m for 3 years then 400+interest for 3 years. If you split the difference it's $350 a month for 72 months. But that doesn't include interest on the second 1/2 of that.

So the Suzuki is about $335/m with the 0%. Averaging the 3 years of lease vs 3 years of loan you're probably somewhere like $360-370 a month for the total of 72 months, on a front wheel drive car.

$365 * 6 years * 12 months = $26,280 for whatever else you're talking about.

I thought the budget was $15,000?

My original budget was based on what I thought I could get a car loan for at this time that translated into 300ish payments a month.

So I figured 15k with TTL is 16-17k area, maybe 18k area at 3-4% or whatever was around that.

15k isn't really the goal, its a monthly payment truly. But at the same time I don't want to do anything stupid, like pay stupid amounts of interest (which is where the talks are at now) to get a nice car. Like basically I didn't want a 20k car and pay 10k in interest type of shit.

I am really just looking at my monthly budget in all honestly, hence the monthly payment part.
