Well I have bad news. Looks like my stock exhaust manifold is starting to crack. so I guess I'm gonna start to look for a tubular Header for it. does anyone know if I can remove the ABS without causing a ton of issues? I want a set of hard pipes but all the kits I've found are for the cars without ABS.
Get one of those aftermarket cast iron manifolds if you are looking to daily drive it. It will be more than enough for what you want, plus it's indestructable.
Unless you're planning on spending good money on a manifold (which honestly wouldn't do a whole hell of a lot seeing as your car is stock) don't bother with a tubular. Find a 2g manifold or the FP Race mani. Both are cast, durable, and won't cause any issues.
if you are deleting the ABS, you will either need the lines from a non-ABS equipped car (what I did, the easiest if you can find some) or bend your own lines, and get a non-ABS proportioning valve. I believe there is a total of 4 lines you need to replace, then you can throw away your giant octopus of an ABS module.

On a side note I think I'm mildly retarded. I've tried everyway I can think of to post my pics from flickr to this forum and nothing works. is there something I'm doing wrong?
I fixed my boost drop issue, the BCS stuck open so my wastegate was open most of the time. Wrote my to-do list last night, it's gonna be spendy but then again what DSM isn't. Made friends with a kid in my town that has a Black 95 GST. Still waiting on an answer as to what turbo I have, no one seems to know.
You should stop by my place on Sunday man. I can take a look at it. Or if you take off the intake tube and get a good shot of the compressor wheel we can tell you more.

Well my boost leak is fixed. I really need to get an MBC I'm not happy with the 12psi I'm putting out. but soon the major upgrades are gonna start just came across a friend who has a 4g63t sitting in his garage that I'm going to tear down and build up. I'll post more after work
Well Picked up a set of GSX rims the other day, I'm gonna polish them and paint them before mounting them on the car. so if someone is looking for a set of stock Talon rims let me know. once I swap my tires on to these new rims I'm going to be looking to off load them.
ok so I went and got a TD05 16G last week, and installed it. WOW! the car has more go and I love it. I'm still looking into changing my ABS out for a non ABS setup.

Re: 1G Talon Build or at least the start of it.
DO IT! Gives you so much room. I did the swap overnight. The only issue i had was fishing the brake lines back through the holes in the frame and getting the fittings to thread into the proportioning valve and master cylinder. I had to be really carefull since they strip easily! Once you get that figured its a cake walk really.
Fyi, if you want to do it the factory way, Mitsubishi does no sell two of the 4 or 5 lines you need to remove the ABS. I just went to a junk yard and got them or you can make your own.
I'm slightly jealous of your car... I had a one just like it!
