I bought the kit from Partsdinosaur.com.

No you can leave there rear one in there without any issues. (people say) I could just cut the balance shaft off and use it like a stub. A lot of people do it that way.

I'm gonna put the rear shaft back in and see how it feels. If it feels good I'll either just put it back in, or cut it and use the end of it like a stub.
