Blue Supra @ Fall Dyno Day
Well, I know a couple of you wanted to know a little more about the Blue MkIII that was at the fall dyno day at Modern, so here is a little info.
2JZ Swap
3582R
AEM EMS
Tuned by Shane
E-85
This dyno was at 22psi
This run was at 18psi, he didn't want to break anything his first time at the track. He previously made 439 HP at 18 lbs boost.
Here's a video of his first night at the track, my battery died about 12 seconds before his best run lol

Not the powerband I expected to be honest, the 35R on that 3.0 should have more bottom end, still doesn't spool until 4000rpm. Very nicely setup car!

It sure doesn't feel laggy at all though, on the street it will hit full boost closer to 3k. I guess he is running it about 26psi right now and he says it's a real fucking animal.
This winter the turbo will be coming off and being replaced by a custom made 67mm. Think Billet 67 variant.

Good. A 2jz shouldn't ever have anything smaller.

Re: Blue Supra @ Fall Dyno Day
It was definitely a nice car! I was amazed at how quiet the thing is while still making that kind of power.

Goes to show, noise does not generate power.

There's a lot of unhappy Honda owners crying over that statement.

It's been my joke for a while. Honda's don't have a throttle, it's just a volume control.
