half Radiator

Is any one running this kind of a Radiator. I was thinking of running one to make more room for my intercooler piping. I have a full aluminum one now. Do they cool just as good as the bigger ones.

Re: half Radiator

It's pretty easy to do if you know someone who can weld aluminum. buy any 96-00 civic radiator, and you need to have the coolant drain and lower rad pipe flipped, then, you have to have the bottom mount re welded to mate up to your lower mount and just take your oem top mount, move it over to line up, drill a hole and run a nut and bolt through. I can take some pictures if you need help, all in all it cost me like oh 250$ with a Mishimoto radiator and autozone 10'' fan

Re: half Radiator

I had one in my evoIII for a few years it worked great. I still have it. I could sell it it also has a fal fan on it. I took it out for a griffan scirrico radiator to make room for the top mount and gt40. I also put on in the wifes 89 mirage hatch
