Did you not read anything I and others wrote above? I've ran and attended tons of dyno days and even when I 'help out' I will not be the one to put the final tug on the straps, and the dyno facilities drive the car on/off the rollers, as well as do the actual pull. Its cool that you want to question every little detail, perhaps you would care to volunteer to help us out for the day? That would be the most helpful

Not to start some more OT stuff but putting straps on is not rocket science. kinda hard to mess up at strapping a car lol (If someone doesnt know how/where to strap a car they shouldn't be working with cars).. Then again I drive a tow truck so I am used to strapping cars down so it might make my judgment on it a little different.

Ok, well I've built my car myself with the help of a couple friends, and I wrench on cars for a living but I don't have any idea where would be the optimal place to strap my car down. Does that mean I should sell my tools and my car, or start paying a shop to mod and repair my car?

I'm not trying to start an argument here, but not everyone knows the best way to strap down a car. That's why I choose leave something as important as that to the people who have done it thousands of times and know the best way to do it.
