What weight oil do you use?

Lame, after running the thicker oil for about 800 miles, my car is now registering knock again wtf.

It's possible you have a spun bearing.

Very unlikely (doesn't show any signs of it) but i'm clueless. I think I just have a loud engine.

Has anyone used Valvoline VR1 20W50 and how do you like it? I'm thinking of running that for the summer then regular conventional in the winter.


Synthetic oil is just too expensive for me right now and is un-needed.
