I've decided that rebuilding it is the way to go. I'll know the history on the engine and really don't have to worry about it, since I'll be making it. I just don't wanna worry about what I'm getting, warranty or not. I'm also gonna do the clutch, flywheel and a complete gasket set. So I think that I won't have to worry about this thing for a while.
Plus I've also been playing around with the idea of saving up over next winter and puttin' a turbo on it, since it'll be a new engine and I can just make it fun and reliable, nothing too crazy, it's just a 626
