EDIT: Well apparently after getting off the phone I can't use ddr5 cards? grr or can I? Where does the limit end on what I can do? Almost all of them have gddr5.. I'm so confused..

I have never heard of a computer having an issue with a video card because the gddr memory type. Are you sure they didnt think you were talking about DDR5 RAM not working in your computer? I would understand DDR5 Ram not working in a computer built to handle DDR2 or 3 RAM. (especially because DDR5 RAM to my knowledge does not exist.
As long as you have a PCI-E slot, it should be fine.
