Re: My project= 1992 tsi

As of right now, I am not to worried about mods. It's got a e3 16g, 2g mani, k&n, turbo xs boost controller, and thats pretty much it. It does not have the balance shafts removed. Mods will come with time, I still gotta do some reading, and see what direction I want to go in. E-85 has always sparked my intrest, but I think thats a little further down the road.

And I answered you in an earlier post. Its running a walbro 190, i think the ad said. I wasnt informed of any prexisting fuel issues before the sale, wouldve made me think a little more about buying it.

Re: My project= 1992 tsi

Since its been a while, I figured I would post up a little update.
The talon has been taking a nap under a blanket of snow, until today when my family mechanic stopped by. After a few minutes and a compression test, we found out it had none in a couple cylinders....compression that is. I guess the lower timing belt pulley wiggled loose a bit, allowing the belt to jump some teeth and bend some valves.
So, I will need a head, and then we will check over the rest of it as well.
