Re: O-rings question

If you have a turbo bigger then a 67mm something then start looking at L-19 studs and the Felpro MLS, but anything smaller then that a stock composit gasket (a little copper spray will help also) and ARP's torqued to 100lb/ft with moly lube on the threads, inside the nut and between the nut sholder and washer, none between the head and washer, it should hold just fine. Unless you are knocking, or have a warped block/head. Boost by it self does not equal cylinder pressure (OMG torques and with RPM comes OMG horsepowers). You need to have the right amount of ignition timing and boost at the same time. If you run 35psi and a few degrees of ignition timing you are not going to make a lot of cylinder pressure. But you look for MBT at 35psi then you will start to see a big change in power and stress on items, like head gaskets etc.

In short do not spend the money on Orings, yet. Use the L-19 studs(do not over torque them they will break) and a Felpro MLS with a fresh deck on the head/block then re tune the car.
