On another note, I am really excited to see the vice presidential debates. I love watching a good car crash as its happening.

Theres such thing as being realistic. The only two parties that have a decent chance for president is the two we are argueing over. If the independent parties were to come up with a strong candidate and work for a full 4 years gaining support, i would care what that candidate thought, but its just not a reality right now. Believe me, when Nader ran, i supported him, but in todays current society it is a two party system. Unfortunatly.

It's attitudes like this that are the reason why we are stuck in a two-party system. Reality is there are other candidates, like it or not, and the media is to blame for these other people not being known. I dare you to ask anyone on the street who Ron Paul is, and I bet you the majority respond with "Ron who?"

I understand what you are saying, but in the end, no matter if you vote for Ron Paul(I like him) or not, it comes down to these two parties(realistically). At that point, I say vote for the lessor evil(politics making everyone evil..). I don't mean to downplay what you and others are doing and believe in, but it just seems like a wasted vote(specially in this very important election). Thoughts? Or care to make someone like me understand the rational? Not meant to be disrespectful, truly want to know. |

OK, thats fine, but that really wasn't my question. I thought maybe you were part of the Ron Paul/Independent contingent that had a reason for voting for neither party and only for Ron Paul or whoever Independent is running. So was curious the basis or plan or thought process behind it.. Apparently not though. |
