I wasn't trying to nay say, Just trying to pass on my experience with some of these filters. The miata filter is skinny and short. The V6 MX-6 Filter is the same width, but an inch longer and got me a 10psi drop in oil pressure on cold starts and top end. If length is not the issue (though it probably is for most people [keep your mind out of the gutter guys]) the MX-6 filter seems to flow better.
