Great news. I have gotten ahold of the state, and the Sgt of the officer that wrote the ticket. They both pulled up all my info, and it is showing valid. The Sgt apologized for the issue and the officers behavior, and is contacting the court admin to let them know that he and I spoke, and is going to bat for me on this. He said to follow up with them here in about an hour, and to explain the situation to them. He said that they may drop the ticket, but if not, he will personally appear on my court date and help me get it dropped.
