M///guy: it's a liberal arts degree. Don't know if you understand that, but it's where you don't waste four years studying ONE thing, like business or finance, which I couldn't stand. Put it this way, I've got more worldliness in my pinky than you ever will. Why don't you tell me what your major in college was, so we have equal footing in this retarded argument? You and polish mafia.

LMFAO. This has made me a better person and more independent. I learned early on, that you have to pay for independence. If i wanted my mail to be private i would get my mail before my parents did. Its not a hard concept to grasp. You have no privacy when you arent paying rent or live under your parents roof. Some day you may learn that letting silly shit like this get to you is a waste of your time. If you had something to hide then you should have taken the percautions. My son will have his own privacy to a point, but as a good parent my job is to keep him on the straight and narrow. Just like with drugs and such, when he gets around the age of 15 i will be looking around his room and making sure hes not smoking or doing drugs. Sure he may not like it at the time, but when he becomes successful as an adult because his brain isnt fried, he will thank me. Same thing with his mail if hes living under my roof i have the right as a parent to look through his mail, reason, Because i dont want my son getting in over his head with the law or credit card debt.
Its not because im a strict parent, its because i have been there and know exactly what kids his age do, and i want to make sure he doesnt go down the same path i did. I got big into debt and its the worst feeling in the world. And i managed to get myself out of that with the help from my parents helping me budget money.
I havent gotten married yet, Im actually proposing to my girlfriend Tomorrow night.
No degree is a waste, Honestly you probebly should be able to get any job as long as you have a degree in anything. If its not in your field who cares you can learn it. My brother got a Business degree, and he teaches golf. My other brother went for another major (i forget what it was) and he sells insurance. College degrees show employers that you can learn, and you can work to accomplish goals. Granted with your degree if you want to gain a career in your field its a lot easier. But for the most part thats what a degree does for you. I have an IT degree and im one of the few that actually does what he want to school for.
