NASCAR drives straight on an oval just as much as any other series that's on road courses. Those races are won in the turns where car setup and driver skill matter.
You said, "Want to race?" Autocrossing, karting, road racing... Name your poison.
Don't challenge me to race and expect it to be on a public road and in a straight line.
