Pos Act Pressure Plate

So I purchased one of the "new" act pressure plates which has around 1500 miles on it and my clutch stopped disengaging. So I dropped the tranny and the pressure plate fingers were stuck in, and once I disconnected the pressure plate they popped back out. Do I risk trying to re-use it or should I purchase a new one. I am going to try and get it warrantied but I purchased it about 105 days ago so I'm a few days out of luck.
