Hi Steve- As a matter of fact I just got off the phone with my speed shop. The crank is cut locally and they send it to a place in the cities. It's probably the same place you're talking about. He's going to call and get the price. He guess-timated $160-180. If it's the same place, then my machinist estimated way low. If it were only $160, then I might do it. Over $200 is getting too much because it's another $60 for the cutting yet.

I like the fact that you didn't just come right out and say, Get it Nitrated! I hit my goal last October. I'm not sure how much I'm gonna wind the piss out of it anyways this summer. Looks like driving a car period this summer is going to be a privledge with fuel going up.
