F'in thieves!

I woke up this morning and went outside. Low and behold my bike is gone!! It is a 2005 Suzuki GSXR 1000 with the license plate "JETZ" which is relocated farther up the tail in front of the rear tire. It is black with some silver and red. It was taken from in front of my house in Fridley. If anyone has any info on it, please call me at 651-308-1672. Here is a pic:

Re: F'in thieves!

any other features that would stand out since that plate is probably long gone?

i will keep a look out when i am riding etc and pass the word.

i also regularly search ebay so i will add that to my lists.

i know its hind sight but since it sits outside often might want to consider a rotor lock or something.

good luck.

Re: F'in thieves!

I don't think a rotor lock would have done anything. The bike is so light that 2 guys probably threw it in the back of a pickup and took off. I will have an alarm waiting when my new bike gets here. I am going to be missing out on a lot of riding time though....this sucks ass!

Re: F'in thieves!

Damn, and i backed up a bit to not hit the bike when i pull out of there

i saw a guy in old oldsmobile/buick tan color drive by and slowdown infront of the house and look towards it and then he continued driving. I didn't think anything of it until now! at that time i was thinking he was checking out the DSMs...

fuk i wish i paid more attention..

Re: F'in thieves!

Just to note the bike had most of the warning stickers removed from it. There were a bunch of them on there and I think he got most of them off if not all of them. They are very noticable if they are on there and easy noticed when they are gone as well. We think its our neighbors since a few of them ride bikes. One of them got busted and went to jail and we haven't seen much of him but that doesn't mean he didn't line it up to have JET bike stolen.

Re: F'in thieves!

Yeah, and now I see I have a $1000 deductible. I swore I told her $100 on comp and $1000 on collision. I ended up with $1000 on both. Ain't life grand?
