I proved it, I am basically retarded.
Seriously, don't try this at home. Being a shop owner and mechanic, I have no excuse other than just being insanely busy for what I am going to tell you. I pushed the Mighty Max's brakes to the point where tonight i almost took out the Napa on Uni  (wouldn't have been a huge loss) I was going slow enought that the sidewalk stopped me before I dented the building. Right before I pulled in the lot, that annoying metal on metal noise I have been hearing for far too long dissapeared as well as the brakes. So I get out of the truck and on my way inside I notice a front backing plate for what used to be a brake pad laying in front of the truck, I touch it like a dumbass and almost end up with my fingers welded to it. Pretty bad when they fall right out of the caliper hahaha. I guess it's true about the mechanic working on their vehicles last. Good thing I know how to drive without brakes.

Easily 4 months hahaha, I suck. The max will be happy with all new brakes this afternoon though. For some reason I don't want to waste time to see if the calipers survived, i am pretty sure the pistons were not designed to ride on the rotors directly I suppose if I looked at it in normal Raptor mentality, the front calipers are lighter with no pads in them!

Actually, I bought them at the brake warehouse, 120 for both rotors, and both calipers loaded, I wouldn't bother going anywhere else. I managed to drive back to the shop from napa without my foot ever touching the brake pedal as well. I might have made a less than legal stop at a few signs, but it worked out.
