New Job

I am looking to find a new place to work. I just got a new apartment off of Rockford Road by Highway 55. I am looking for a place nearby.

I currently work at Solutran but not making enough (which isn't much) and for the amount of work I do. I am excellent with computers (kind of a computer geek at heart) and I am certified to run a forklift.

If you guys have any room where you currently work or know of some places, that'd be cool.

Re: New Job

Holiday always seems to be looking for overnight people. Pay starts at $8/hr + $1/hr for overnights.

Re: New Job

Nah, I need more than that. I work full time and will need a full time job to cover the apartment. I need to start at $11 at least. Can't get 2 jobs, too much stuff to take care of at night.

Re: New Job

Wal-Mart, Target, Home Depot and other stores like that always seem to be hiring. I gotta friend in Chaska and she gets around $10/hr at Target. With just a high school diploma, i wouldn't expect too much more than that.

Heck i live in Central WI. Out of high school it's, $8.00-$9.00/hr and stacking boards or some shit work like that. If you're good with computers, go get some certifications. A+ certification is a good place to start. I'm in the computer field and I can say without and certs or field experience on your resume, you might as well forget it, your resume will put put in the File 13 drawer. They got too many other resumes to look at of people that do have the above.

good luck.

Re: New Job

I am fine here, I make $10.50 with benifits, I could just use the extra income. 75% of the company are woman, and I have a g/f so...nothing good out of that.

Re: New Job

You can always come to $uper\/@lue and make 14.95 to pick orders. Of course theres no benefits and in 2 years you won't have a job cause there installing an automated picking system.
