Bunch of funny guys you are. We shall see who has the last laugh :bounce: The things you don't know about are going to bite ya!

Come on now, beating some fairly stock bodied 4g63 powered DSMs with a 6g72 powered tube chassis "DSM" isn't exactly a magical task. [/b][/quote]
Doesn't really matter as long as I get to the end of the track first. I don't care about the people who call it cheating. Seriously, I don't do this for just the love of DSM's, I love to drive fast, and even more, I love to win so whatever it takes to acomplish both, thats what I will do. Spraying all the way if necessary!

Yeah I could go beat up a 10 year old, sure I'd win, but I wouldn't feel good about it.Like I was saying, beating a stock modified DSM with a purpose built drag "DSM" isn't a big achievment, and doesn't say much about the ability or ingenuity of the builder/driver/tuner.I'd feel better racing a similar setup, where it would come down to the ability and competitiveness of the builder/tuner/driver.

Hahahaha thats funny, you act like I am building my car to race slow ass 2G's. I am aiming for much quicker cars than that. I am pretty sure at this "event" you won't be lining up against me, it would be a waste of rubber. I expect to be running the quicker guys from the other shops where there would be some competition.
You can try your best to take down Peter (you will lose). Or maybe Swanny can save the tempo for you to run

I would love to just run my 2g or at the least 1 of my dsms, and post better than a 14. That would be a great accomplishment.

Your all full of shit. The 1.8 would kill all of you, but I have no intrest in wasting the gas to prove it so I will bow out and probably have the truck hooked up to a trailor waiting for the only garunty of this event.

If a ten year old was looking for a fight with a older kid, and got beat down, than he asks for it. don't bring a knive to gun fight, and don't write checks you ass can't cash. winning is winning, run what ya brung or go home. 1G all the way by the way :dsmrule:

Thats the only way you would win Eric.
I don't expect to be done till June, set it for later in the year and I will be down for it. You can save your money till then, I will be happy to take it from you.

You sure talk alot of shit for having a 16 second (at best) 2g.
All that work at JHM really got ya thinking doesn't it?
:stick:
That being said, I like the idea of a dsmstyle 'shootout'.
Make a few classes, maybe 1g, 2g, and 'outlaw' so the racing is fair, maybe do a shop vs. shop thing.
Maybe we should set a date for mid/late summer, would before the shootout or after the shootout be better?

Thats what your hoping. I mean next June, the project is in motion and the parts are being made, I will be ready. I will be happy to take a donation from you if you feel the need, but no backing out at the end when you are obviously going to be destroyed. If you are in now, you are in then.

I've actually been thinking about this for quite a long time, I just couldn't afford to put any money into my cars.
BTW my 16 sec 2g still beats your engineless tank though
