That is what you call Target Fixation. On a motorcycle you always look where you want to go, 1/3 of the way in to the corner you can see he is banked in to the turn well and his right pipe is almost touching. As he realizes he is coming in hot then he starts looking at the vette coming and you can see him stand the bike up. He would have been find if he just stayed in the corner and leaned it over til the pipe touched.
