Re: the evo 3 swap parts are coming

That stuff you used sounds way better than normal paint for a daily driver or something that will see some abuse. The way if it gets a scratch all you have to do is touch it up and it will blend it by itself sounds super nice. Painted engine bays look nice when freshly done but if scratch/dirty they look worse than this paint will.

Looks nice dude!

Re: the evo 3 swap parts are coming

worked on the car put some of the stuff back in the engine bay. Cleaned the front cusco zero r2 coilovers and oiled the crap out of the camber plates. Use some of the fuel line holders that I brought home for the return line and the fuel filter. Also put the ce9a data plate in the car. I had the cd9a one from the evo 1 front clip. Got the hid boxs hidden and the hella super tones back on.

now I just have to wait for the ltt rear control arms to show up and all the braided nylon wire loom to get here

Re: the evo 3 swap parts are coming

Got the new battery box made last night at work. It will hold a yellow top. The box it self is 304 1/2 hard s.s.
It will be going inbetween the frame rail and 1/4 panel on the right side of the trunk. It will be sunk in to floor and bolted in flush so the trunk will not loose any space

Re: the evo 3 swap parts are coming

took out the seats and carpet and found this going to have to get some dry ice to get the sound deadner and fix the rust now.

also rewired the engine bay. got it all hooked up and tested it out to make sure it all works and passed with flying colors
lest side just has a few wires that had to be extended

the right side all the wires needed to be extended into the car

where the fuse box is now going to sit. just have to make a bracket for it

tomorrow I will take it all back out and loom it all

Re: the evo 3 swap parts are coming

got it loomed today

back in all the wiring out of the fuse box is behind the firewall pad

just have to plug the wires in the the fuse box and put it back up were it goes

all the wiring back up were it ran to start with and all zipped tied down

all the wiring that is going to be in the engine bay from the engine bay harness. 2 sets of wires. 1 set for the city lights and 1 set for the hid lights

also my parents stopped by and he gave me a hand putting in the tranny, bare block and scrap head so I can do the engine harness now.

the engine harness that will be taken care of tomorrow

also UPS dropped of some parts. 10an s.s. lines. 1. has a 90 and a straight and the other has 2 swivel 90's on them. going to get a 90 for the straight and put a swivel 90 on the other line. They are getting used for the new oil cooler set up.

Also the best part they are going to buy the mirage evo 1 swap from me so they can have a 2nd car so the truck can sit. My mom just wants it with the stock panels and the evo x wing on it so. I am going to sell the evo 1 front bumper and skirts

Re: the evo 3 swap parts are coming

Thanks Brandon. The engine bay harness was not as bad as I thought it would be. There is so little wires in the evo harness over a Dsm it is crazy.

Re: the evo 3 swap parts are coming

The block and head in it are just for doing the engine harness it is not the 2.4. It is just one of the few blocks and heads I have laying around. I will be cleaning the tranny up after I get the harness done and pull it all back out.

Re: the evo 3 swap parts are coming

Started on the engine harness. Took out the 2 plugs that are not needed. Also moved the wiring for the mas and the plug for the fuse box to the in side of the car.

Marked and cut the harness in 1/2 to shorten it all up.

Also fedex droped of the new rear ltt lca's
