I am going to have to side with Loaf somewhat on this. The things being shown are very tame compared to things that have happened in previous wars. Is it right? No, but things take time to change.

Also, a picture doesn't tell the story. How do you know that prisoner wasn't mistreating the guard? Maybe he spit on her right before that? It is just like a foul being called in sports, the 2nd guy always gets busted. I am just playing devil's advocate here, but people need to keep an open mind and not jump to conclusions.

As for the beheading, that is part of the risk of what he was doing. He was looking for great financial rewards, but he knew we were at war. He was willing to accept those risks and happened to pay for it. Same thing as the gold rush out in California back in the day.

Enes, there was more politics involved in the Bosnian conflict from our side. Everything over there was in chaos and we didn't know what was happening with the soviet union. I know the UN did help some of the states, but even that only seemed to be in extreme situations. This seemed to be a more natural civil war, where we had to start the civil war in Iraq.

I still think Iraq should just be East Texas.

Over here, its not a "blind" hatred. Im the one being shot at. Its my reality. I hate the ones who shoot at us, who motar our camps every night. And who cut off civilians heads... I wont justify what the gaurds did, yes they were in the wrong. But put it on a scale.

I agree with pretty much everything you say. On a scale it's nothing, I think everyone agrees to that. By the hatred, I meant that they hate us, Americans, whom they have never even met.

There is history behind the hatred... Us has always interfeered with their goverment, hell US put Sadam in power, that had to start some hatred, US armed him, US created Alkaida, US... there is just too much US involvement for them not to have hatred...

War = $$$.

We will always have a "bad guy" country out there some where that we will have to go after. There are too many people making money from it to not have it. Think about it. Why would we have to spend so much money on millitary weapons, planes, tanks, artillery, etc. if were are not at war or concerned about what some other country is doing?

I saw it. And everybody is freaked out about some Iraqi's in the nude, geeezzzzzz. I think it's about time to drop BigBoy on them and stop all this madness. Oooops, I forgot about the oil. Can't use radioactive oil, well maybe in a DSM. :rant:

Honestly, the video is worth watching in some aspects. It realy give you an idea of how insane these people are.

I listened to the audio this morning, and I will never watch the video. I dont want images to put with the screams and gurgling noises. Haunting. :cry:

ok after watching it, im shocked, i couldnt handle that, and yes it was very graphic, its very wrong, i would like to think its fake so im just believeing the rumors since it was so horrible.
