Local GVR4 owners, favor please.
I am thinking about picking up a GVR4 shell.
But i would like a ride maybe even drive a few before I do to see if they are in fact the car for me.
Can't lie, I am thinking about an EVO if things go well when i get home.
Thanks
Aaron

Re: Local GVR4 owners, favor please.
Interesting. If you buy a shell, make sure it has no rust...lol lol. Anyways, it is basically a DSM engine wise but it's far from a DSM handling wise IMO. Driving my cousin's talon and this car is completely different. The car does feel smoother and stiffer and it rides a bit better. The only issue I am beginning to see with mine is that it's getting old...really old but nothing is broken yet. My AWS lines are not leaking yet. I will need to replace the front ball joints/bushings pretty soon. Just make sure if you got a shell, make sure the AWS lines are either removed or not leaking. These cars are getting older and older every month but with some minor touch ups, the car will feel way better than a DSM in my opinion. BUT, if you're deciding with an Evo...get the Evo.

Re: Local GVR4 owners, favor please.
How the hell do you multi quote?
Anywho, AWD, thanks for your answer and to be honest it sounds just like what I am looking for. But why do you say get an EVO?
Goodhart you should know that I am not ballin', I still drive a DSM! lol.
Lookin for something to carry more people and have a bigger trunk.
Mark, thank you capt. obvious i miss you too.
Nartanian, The JDM look is mad tyte i can't lie.
SO, can anyone give me a ride next weekend sometime? I was on gvr4.org and they look awesome outside.
I want a 4 dr because i see it more practical and I now have the Z so I don't need 2 cars that are 2 seaters. Plus I need something a little more comfy and slow as I am getting old and I plan to have the Z to scare the shit out of me someday.

Re: Local GVR4 owners, favor please.
I don't mind giving you a ride, but I gotta busy schedule ahead of me. I suggested an Evo just because they're newer and you won't have to deal with the rust issues. Not that may car is rusty, but there's beginning to be alot of GVR4s up here that are quite rusty underneath. by the way, the Galant VR4 is basically the Evo Zero...so, both ways its good
EDIT:
I've been DD the Galant for about 2 years and it's actually been more reliable than my friend's Hondas and Nissans. LOL! The car still rides realllly well.

I'd be willing to give you a ride as well. My car is just a basic 16g car with bolt ons. I'm located in the south metro. Send me a PM if you're interested.

Re: Local GVR4 owners, favor please.
Thanks guys, I am back in town now and I would love a ride as I have found some GVR4s down south and of course some buyers for my car. (I love actually having a decent looking DSM for once).
For some reason the last couple times I have logged in it hasn't shown these new posts.
