Re: project reach-around
Looking good, these are pretty quick, a buddy of mine has got one. I put $125 towards this car lol. I bought the bumpers, s/s's and spoiler off the talon.

Re: project reach-around
well we'll see on the tranny but really it would only take a couple hours to do so no big deal.
but my dads down screwing around with the carb to make it work better.
so only things left are new water pump, get the new plates on it and get insurance back on it.
tires are a must as well

Re: project reach-around
How the hell did I miss this thread?
Talk about a major case of deja fucking vu. Jaei Sun where are you?
Love the fastback GT, getrag 5 speeds hold up well. I hate to say it but I just threw away an almost complete getrag about two weeks ago. I do still have beefer axles that you can build out of the stock axles if you want them. I for the record never had issues with my drivetrain other than burning up clutches until I got SPEC to make one for the Fiero. I sent a bunch of old clutches to ACT as they seemed interested but they never came through in the end.
Nice aluminum Archie kit. the angle iron front mount is ghey and I ended up welding it to the cradle. I have a bigger front bar if you want one, a rear sway bar is a must on these cars, no they didn't come with one unless it was an 88 but then again that a whole different and better rear suspension (no bump steer.)
CSI electric waterpump is the way to go, I actually pioneered the use of that pump in a V8 Fiero swap back when the masses were pushing the shitty moroso electric pump. One look at my setup by Archie at the Wis Dells show back in 2000, now Archie uses CSI all the time on his setups. Also got SPEC to build a nice six puck clutch for the Getrag in the Fieros. All this took place back in the 1998-1999 for me.
Craig I want a ride!
here are some photos of my small block chev fiero GT before it got rearended and I sold it.

Re: project reach-around
Wow, that looks like it was a beautifull car Jim! And BTW, there's only one pic of your Talon and your Evo in your album.
