it will all be washed soon. the car has been apart for years but was a running awd car back in 1999/2000. it was just put on the back burnner when I started the evo III. I have had the engine sitting ready to go to gether for around 6 years now.
In the end it is more of a finnish it up car sense I have had it so long I just wanted to work on it now.
So your saying your the first one to ever do a awd spyder? I dont know if I believe that. This is the worlds first

Its still a 2g eclipse spyder, doesnt matter if it was the 2.4L or 2.0 or manuel or auto, its still a fwd spyder into a awd spyder. Oh ya one more thing, I do know how to read!!!

Easy there buddy, you're talking to the godfather of AWD/turbo swaps! Mark is the king (even if he spells and smells funny!)

well good for you and yeah it does kinda matter if you want to get into it just slapping in a rear end gas tank tranny and trans case take no effort at all. but to totally do engine swap which fits no where near the same and doing all the wiring is more a feat than that.

in my book its not the same and your link just shows documented the first doesnt mean others couldnt do it first he just got the credit for it. it must feel good for someone to do all the work for you like he did. any idea what the date of that mag is because it doesnt say at all

Learn your cars buddy. The GS Spyders came with a 4G64 swapping in a 4G63 is easier then "just bolting up a rear end and gas tank".

Re: the awd spyder after 7 years of sitting comes home

well I got a turbo for the car for free. all I can say about it is that it came off a push back (if you know what that is) for 747's. I will not go in to how it came home. now I just have to find out what it is.

Pushback

What a giant turbo. Needs a little freshening up. But christ almighty you always have to do some crazy shit to your vehicles! I thought a 1.02 was big.

Re: the awd spyder after 7 years of sitting comes home

it just needs a good cleaning and the hot side needs to be blasted and coated and it will be ready to go. there is no shaft play in it at all. It is also nice not having to pay 1200.00 for a turbo
