Re: Spring Dyno Day Results and Pics!
Sucks I had to leave early. My 1:30 appointment didn't show up anyways. After fixing some bugs this weekend, I should be ready to dyno again with all the changes.

I am a bit bummed that my car was WAY down on power since I last dyno'd, but at least I know where my issues are so hopefully within a month I'm able to get back on the dyno and crank out at least another 25-30 whp.

Re: Spring Dyno Day Results and Pics!
Just ask one of us. I don't think most of us would care to give a ride, unless Evo rides start turning into a carnival event or something...then it might just get annoying...
BTW..Jake I owe you a ride still.

They only rev to 6200 rpm, what did it make at 4500rpm? Sorry we could not stay longer, had to finish moving stuff.

Re: Spring Dyno Day Results and Pics!
Maybe two or three years ago, I had a big thread about my 20G car having fuel cut... No one believed me... I even got banned because of it! Well, my mostly stock 1G hits fuel cut at 15psi (I found that out at the dyno day!) Thats the exact same thing it was doing three years ago, so if I could go back in time, I'd give you all a big middle finger!

Re: Spring Dyno Day Results and Pics!
I was really impressed by that ricey looking white 2G that made like 339 awhp on a 16G, sidemount IC, using an SAFC2. It really is all about making what u have work together as best they can.

I was talking to that guy, he might of had link not sure, he said he post on the DSMlink boards and that he tuned everything him self. Also he has a built bottom end with higher compression pistons. However, if you were to look under his hood you would swear it's basically stock.
That guy needs to go race people for $100 a race and become a rich man very quickly lol. He even admitted his engine bay looks worse than stock.

Fiberglass fenders and aftermarket rims is ricey? When I first got my car I hated the rims but now I think they fit the car well. When I bought the car it had a stupid bodykit on it; I wouldn't even want to be seen driving something with that crap on it.
I actually don't use the SAFC2 anymore as anything more than a display - settings are zeroed. I tune with TunerProRT.
I don't think a FMIC is really necessary. I don't know if the SMIC I have flows well or not, but I'm planning keeping it for a while yet (probably as long as I have the car).
I had hoped for higher numbers but at a lot higher boost; I guess I should've cranked my boost up on the drive there instead of on the dyno between runs.

Actually I said "I wish I had higher compression pistons". It has lower than stock - 8.0:1. Thats how I bought it.
I have a galant valvecover that says mitsubishi on it which I was thinking of having powdercoated red, but then people would think more of my car so I don't think I'm going to.
I do wish I at least had some aftermarket cams and 10:1 pistons, then it would have more power but still look the same.
My dad has a mustang that dynoed at 524 torque / 469 HP on an engine dyno, and he is scared to race me -- he pulled me a little bit when I was running gas and just the SAFC2 tune.
