MN Mazda.com Dyno Day This Sat (5/26/07)

Just in case anyone needed soemthing to do to kill some time, the local Mazda group is having a dyno day today at LSE Performance. They will have probably 8-13 cars on the dyno, so there woudl be room for anyone else looking to get their car on if need be.

Just thougth I'd toss this out there last minute.

I believe it's $60 for 3 pulls, and no, I don't think he's putting the 6 up again since nothing's been done to it since it was last on.

Bah, Mazda's are slow. I owned a Mazdaspeed6 for a half hour this week. It's a little too luxurious for my taste.

there won't be all stock speed 6s, lucky to break 250whp

Top number was 328 on an RX7. Lots of 209 - 221 ish numbers for the Speed 3s and 6s.

It was $50 for 3 pulls and we had 12 cars dyno. 1 Boosted Honday, 1 VW, 1 Mini Cooper S, and the rest where Mazda cars.

Ended up being a hell of a nice day out after the first sprinkle passed.

One Speed 6 put down 210 with an AEM intake ($300 ish), one Speed 6 put down $209 with a factory air box that was a little gutted, and a few months back mine put down 207 with not one thing done. Needless to say the guy with the AEM intake wasn't too thrilled about the results with the intake.

Yeah, modern car manufacturers tend to know what they're doing on intakes these days. Hell, I only got 1-2hp swapping my disgusting (probably original 145k mile) stock filter out of my Colt for a K&N.
