Re: Cold getting to you yet?

Ya my galant wouldn't start this morning. I had to jump it with the talon, and it still took like 30 seconds of cranking to get the bastard to start. I just put in a brand new battery. I'm guessing the one in there was the stock one, which would be like 6 years old. It starts up real nice now with the new battery.

Days like this make me wonder when this Global Warming scare is actually coming, we could sure use it this winter. Speaking of that, I heard Gore is getting ready to release his global cooling movie now, the one he made simultaneously with his other movie "An Inconvenient Theory". It fits a little better right now.
Shows what you know, I guess. Global warming causes greater extremes: hotter in the summer (I don't know if you know this, but it was in the 90's and 100's for two weeks straight last summer in Minnesota) and colder in the winter (like right now).

These weather patterns will become more evident as time moves along. You'll see! DOOMS DAY!!! AAAAARRGGGGGHHH!!!

The 'ol rickshaw started right up on the first try. I love this truck. I don't think I'll ever get rid of it.

And yeah, AZ is nice. I think I might move there in a couple years. Or maybe I'll become a snowbird and just go down there in the winter.

Wow thats crazy. To much water over Antifreeze. Witch reminds me I have to check the fluids on the GA and Minivan. Ugh wish it will warm up more to make it easyer to check them. I hate standing in the cold.

The '93 merc grand marquis with 130,000 miles, full power everything, digital dash, air suspension with compressor, no tune up and a who knows how old battery fired right up after sitting outside for the entire weekend.

Maybe the exception to the rule with Ford's.

I think you mean "climate change" the new term coined when "global warming" came under fire. Don't worry, the scare will be over after the 2008 election.

Oh, and in case you didn't know, it hits 90's every year and 100's almost every year, it has in my 38 years here. Thanks for the meteorological update, you've got things all figured out.

Re: Cold getting to you yet?

"Global Warming" is a bs political term, it doesn't exist.

It was nice driving home from Arkansas and having the temp drop steadily. .

I was golfing saturday and sunday down there, it was "unseasonably cold" and was 42 on satuday, 48 degrees on sunday.

Re: Cold getting to you yet?

Last night was really nice, it stayed around 60 even when it was dark. We just got a pool table and put it in the game room which has a lot of windows so its usually pretty chilly in there, but last night it was nice and toasty.
