What a suprise

I took a test in my statistics class on tuesday last week. I realized monday night that I knew nothing. I took notes in class and everything but didn't do the homework as it is not graded. I was trying to go over my notes and remember stuff but I couldn't remember anything. I couldn't even figure out the work in my notes from the lecture. Well, I went in to take the test and sat next to someone who looked smart. I planned on copying him when I needed it. The first 4 questions were True False. I watched him on the first question. He read it, and started looking around as if he had no idea. Then I realized that this kid may have been stupider than me :uh: . I decided I would take it on my own and get what I would get. When I was finished, I was very happy that I got an answer for every question no matter how far off it may have been.

I got my test results back today and got 90/100 :woowoo: :jammin: :woowoo: :jammin:

Only 7-45 students recieved an A. the average score was 62 and my buddy got a 13/100. Damn I am very lucky. I am going to start studying. I was so scared going into the test.

Damn dude, an average of a 62, must not have been the easiest test in the world or else people were totally unprepared as a whole. I wish I could say I got a 90/100 on my Materials Engineering test I got back last week but oh well. Glad to see you did well on your test!!

Studying never appealed to me in school until like my freshman year. One class everyone was graded on a curve in science and on average a 40/100 would be worth an A. I thought it would be fun to study once on them and see what happened. I did, I got a 100/100 and everyone else failed. It was fun so I started doing it all the time. Maybe not the best reason to study, but it got me into it and I am glad it did. A lot of the things I learned from all the studying, I actually have used since I was in school way back then (18 years ago)

It is a PITA, but it really is worth it especially in math. Glad to see you were able to get a decent score anyway!

Stick with it and study... It may ruin your social life, but you'll end up with something that I don't have. I gave up on college in my first year, and am kicking myself now for it. If I would have buckled down and stuck with college I would have a BS right now, making who knows how much money working for who knows what company.

School what was that? I just never went, and when I did you I just stayed until lunch then left.
