so i need quick help...

I blew the charge pipe right off the throttle body in my 3/s while romping on it tonight. The thing barely ran, I had to limp it off the freeway into a parking lot. Reattached the pipe, drove home. Now my top end sounds a little loud, my gas smells like oil, and I think i completely blew out the rear turbo gasket because its popping when i rev it.

Does just blowing the charge pipe make it run that rich? DO I need to change my oil like 5 times now?

Help!

Are you sure you don't just have a boost leak now? That will make it run rich.

If your oil smells like gas it is something pretty major, might be a hole in the piston. time to do a compression check. Or did you really mean your gas smells like oil? Do you mean the exhaust?

my oil smelled like gas, on the dipstick. I relaly dont think I have a hole in the piston, just washed the cylinders. Do you think thats not true? I dont fully understand all this MAF stuff, does running with a massive boost leak (read, no boost) cause the car to run very rich?

ok, 3 oil changes later, everything appears good except for the popping coming from the rear bank, I think the turbo gasket is gone, it was going before but I think I blew it out good.

Re: so i need quick help...

oh, and absolutely no metal in the oil, So I think my pistons are fine. However, headgasket? maybe.
