I think overall it works. I don't mind it one bit. The sideskirts and doors just don't look right though to me. Love the monitors inside.

Lower it and get some exhaust, tint the windows and you will be good to go in the look department.

Question: Is it legal to carry around the license plate in the dash like that? I'm sorta going thru the whole front plate ordeal. There is a state trooper that just hates little things like this and avoids jobs like real crime. Any other cop out there in my county is totally cool.

Well, regardless of my general dislike of all things rice, I like anything that is well done and from the pics it looks like that is the case. Looks pretty nice.

No he meant regardless.Irregardless isn't even generally accepted as an actual word. You will find it in some dictionaries, but not all.Irregardless is an adverb, which I believe wouldn't be proper to use it there anyway.
Edit: BTW, the "Winning Team" in your sig, didn't win.Get rid of that pic

Re: finished my car finally, im guessing 99% of ppl here will hate it tho
I think ive said this a couple times but ive been told by state troopers, hwy patrol and local police that the plate in the windshield is fine, because of the fact that its technically on the front of the car. I used to get tickets left and right because there was no plate on the front of my car (not even in the window) but when i put it in the window i stopped getting pulled over. (for no front plate).
The car does look great but could definatly be lowered and tinted. Does that paint match? It looks a little off. Also a suggestion would be to Mold the sideskirts into the body so it looks as if it were part of the car. I would suggest if you dont know how to work with bondo or Poly, to get a paint shop to do it, from personal experiance you will like it more. When i did mine i thought it looked easy enought that i could do it myself but no matter how much it looked like it was good, when the paint went on, it looked like shit.

Looks pretty good overall. Personally I would have taken the money you put into the car and got a turbo model. If you aren't into speed though, it looks like everything else is pretty set!

Looks clean, but definately do something about the doors, try and mold them to match the sideskirts.
Good work none the less.

What did you do with the stock bumpers, side skirts, and the mesh grill? Let me know.

Re: finished my car finally, im guessing 99% of ppl here will hate it tho
Definately a well worked job. Alot of time and effort went into that. Very clean.
BTW Tom, even if you have the plate in the window it is still illegal. Regardless of how YOU think about it, the law states that it has to be securely fastened to the front of the vehicle. It must also have nothing in front of it whether or not the material is clear.
Here is the part of the statute:
Statute 169.79
Subd. 7. Plate fastened and visible. All plates must
be securely fastened so as to prevent them from swinging. The
person driving the motor vehicle shall keep the plate legible
and unobstructed and free from grease, dust, or other blurring
material so that the lettering is plainly visible at all times.
It is unlawful to cover any assigned letters and numbers or the
name of the state of origin of a license plate with any material
whatever, including any clear or colorless material that affects
the plate's visibility or reflectivity.
If you have any other questions about it, you can research it further here; http://www.revisor.leg.state.mn.us/stats/169/79.html .
Basically it has to securely fastened outside of the vehicle. Whether or not it is clearly displayed in the front window, it is still behind the glass. If you don't like it, buy a 20 year old car and get collector plates for it.

It looks really clean! You can always tell when someone takes that extra sanding time to make it real smooth.

It's better than I was expecting from the initial post. Hell, at least the bodykit is painted to match, you don't see that too often up in Crooklyn Park.

Re: finished my car finally, im guessing 99% of ppl here will hate it tho
i got alot better responses than i expected from here. haha. id love to go back and take off the spoiler, weld the holes, paint the door handles, mirrors and mold everything in, but time was a very big factor when i was getting it all done. ive sprayed some royal sapphire blue pearl onto a honda fender that was laying around the shop and i love the color. next year if im able to id like to do a full repaint including jambs and engine bay. who knows tho...
as far as the stock bumpers, i kept the front and rear to use during the winter so i dont f-up the fiberglass.
noone noticed i shaved off the reverse lights too so thats a plus
