Help me out shock/springs for my talon kyb+what?

Well I just got my talon last week and the previous owner was running kyb adjustable shocks and stock springs well of course I want to change springs and I keep reading things about these shocks that doesn't seem to be that great but they are pretty new and I don't want to buy new ones so what springs would be the best? If I drop the car more than an inch I understand I need cambers thats fine I guess but what springs would make for a 2inch drop a comfortable riding one? I am really confused I keep hearing so many different things or am I basically stuck just buying an Eibach Pro-Kit? The pro kit sounds good but I was hoping for a lower ride?

Prokit is a good kit. If you want to go a little lower, Eibach sells the Sportlines. That's what I have on my talon. Not by choice but because it came like that. KYB AGX shocks are good. Keep them. About your camber, your front won't be affected that much, but the rear will be affected a bit. You gotta 2g right? There's a cheap rear camber kit you can make yourself with some high grade bolts and washers. I'll post up a lil cheesy write-up i have saved on my computer later on.

If you have a 2g, you can get a set of Tein Basic's. They will run you about as much as springs/shocks or a little more. I'd think about that as an option if I had a 2g.

Re: Help me out shock/springs for my talon kyb+what?

I don't know how much it lowered my car, because the car came with them already installed. But I think it's around 2", but again, I can't tell you for sure. I can't really tell you about performance with em or anything because I have no clue, but I do like how the car sits. The ride is ok. No different then my 2g was with the Tanabe 2" lowering springs. It still has the stock shocks on the car, so it kinda feels like it's floating when you go over little hills. But I'll get those changed out someday with AGX's. I'm by no means an expert when it comes to suspension, I just know about what I've used and my friends have used. If I did it myself all over again, I'd go with a ProKit and AGX's. Hell there may be something way better than that, but like I said, I'm no expert, I can just tell you about my experience, and I liked that setup.

I have the prokit and AGX's and I love them. If I had to do it over again, I would get the H&R Sport spring because I hear that they are better quality. They do lower it just a tad more than the Prokits.
