This is the tranny I got for $125. Had to drive over 14 hours round trip for it. So, here it is.

I am not sure if that is a DSM tranny, do you have a pic of the top?

Yeah its a DSM tranny but where are you suppose to mount the rear motor mount? on a 2g the front and rear motor mounts are on the tranny and where you are suppose to mount the rear one looks like the holes are not there/or in the wrong place.

Hey I just ran to my shop and snapped a couple pics of my tranny but they are way to big to put on here... You should go on AOL and I'll send them to you! My SN name is RST Eclipse GST

Jake, his transmission is automatic. Your transmission is a 5 speed manual. Also, his wanted to see pictures of AWD, your is FWD ( i mean you know all this im sure, just trying to remind you if you forgot!) Boosted, if you know you have the right tranny and everything, what exactly are you looking to see? How it looks mounted up to the engine? 14 hours is a lot of driving!

Josh... I have done a tranny swap on a Auto GSX plus I have a GSX and a GST. The pic I took was from my AWD tranny. Yes I know its a 5spd but the auto I did a swap on had the same motor mounts as the 5spd tranny, I even got my rear tranny mount from a auto AWD TSI. So in this case yes, I'm pretty sure I know what I am talking about. Not trying to start anything here but I know what I am talking about. Dont post if you dont know.

He asked what he had, I was just pointing out the fact that it didnt look correct! If in fact it is, great! I'm not here to tell someone wrong info, I look down on that. No one should be mislead, but I basically was telling him to check because it would be a waste of time taking his car to his buddies place, pulling the tranny, then come to find out that one of the mounts doesnt bolt up.

Boosted - I'd say take a look at that rear tranny mount and see how its mounted on, if it is the same then I have no clue why your tranny would be different. Good luck.

Jake
