Well, the car I bought when I was in Highschool was just delivered to the new owner tonight. I really hated to see it go, but I have not driven it in almost 3 years, the tabs wer from march 02!!!
Too many projects, not enough time or space it had to go.
Feel like I lost a close friend.. kinda weird, never felt like this about getting rid of one of my many cars!

What was done to the 396 and do you have any HP or track numbers?

Was that an original big-block car? I like the 80-82 front and rear grafted on, not sure about the Greenwood headlight thing though. I wish I'd had a big block Vetter in high school, wow. The first car I ever drove was my dad's '74 Vette. I loved the look of the fenders from the driver's seat, they were fricking huge.

That's too bad Chris, that was a sweet car. I'll always remember back in high school how we had the only classics along with Ross's hooptie Impala! I don't think I could ever give up my old Cat for anything.

The car was not original by any means.
The 396 was from a 67 Chevelle SS, had 454 heads on it, edelbrock intake mani, carb, cam headers, true duals, turbo 400 trans, Be-cool al radiator, al water pump, dual pusher elec fans, digital gauges, new carpet, dash, center console, many other pieces. 17 KMC Venom wheels with Pilot Z rated tires.
It had the custom 82 style rear bumper, custom front clip with higher fenders, recessed headlights, custom hood.
Car sounds badass, but it needs some TLC.
Been sitting for quite some time, the calipers, leak tranny pan leaks, needs a full tune up and misc pieces.

Kinda bummin a bit, but oh well, can always get another I guess. Now... 3 more vehicles and a bike to go....
Maybe I will sell them all and buy an ACR Viper.... always wanted one...
