there's really no point to this thread but i thought id share my great night

so i took my new 2g over to my moms house to use their garage to check it for any problems. they own a trucking company and there is a pit in one of the garages that they use to work under their trucks. its just a hole in the floor that you drive your car over and walk down a ladder to get under the car.

i checked out every thing under the car and i couldnt find a damn thing wrong with this car. so i cleaned up and got some window cleaner to clean the outside of the windows. so im cleaning the windows with the car still over the pit. im starting on the back one and i go to step a little over to my left and oh shit, theres no floor under me! i fell 6ft down into the pit. my back landed on a big metal I-beam in the pit and my right leg got twisted almost to the point of breaking. so luckly my mom got home from work a few seconds after i fell in. it hurt like hell but i thought i could just walk it off.

i climb out of the pit and start walking out of the garage to go lay down in the house. my mom starts freaking out saying im all pale and my lips are turning blue. she is a nurse so i guess she has seen this before. so im trying to walk but everything is fuzzy and im dizzy. i stop by the edge of the garage and lean up against it while my mom tries to call my stepdad from the house to help me.

here it gets worse. the next thing i know i open my eyes and all i see is dirt and grass and my head hurts like hell. i guess my mom said i just passed out while i was standing there. i hit my head on the side of the garage and ripped off this big metal hook that we use to wrap the air hoses on. that was bolted on the the wall.

i guess i know why those pits are illegal now :headache:

went to the hospital and good thing is nothing broken and the doc said its normal to pass out after something very painful like that. the bad part is my knee is so mesed up that i bearly walk.

anyway what a shitty day. ive never passed out like that before. it was really strange. it reminded me of the movie butterfly effect.

we had that setup at the Jiffy Lube I worked at. Just had like safety netting on there. Strong enough to hold a vehicle, so easily strong enough to break your fall

that would have been nice to have. at least im not the only one to fall in. just about everyone that uses the garage has fallen at least once. my stepdad has fallen in 3 times! 2 of the times he was drunk though.

Oh dude, we had those @ Valvoilne. Somehow a girl drove in so we had to lift her car while she had it in reverse, I don't know how we got it out but we did.

So if your knee isn't broken, but it hurts to walk do you just have a bad sprain?

the car fell in the pit?! thats crazy. i always wondered what i would do if my car fell in. i line the car up to the pit and push it in by hand. stopping to check the tires ever foot or so. ive had some close calls but never had a car go in.
