I'm not selling it I yes I know it's not a " " true dsm but oh we'll figure I would build this one how I want it then when and if the time is right and what not then I may get a gsx but who knows. And ya fairmont sucks ass nothing good in town cops suck and the kids in this town think there lil cavey are fast or my favorite is the guy that had the yellow Honda prelude riced out and he was so fast At talkin but me I just in it for the wrenchin got it as a basket case. The po put 3 rods threw the block needs a lot of work still interior and bumpers but hey it is what it is.

Just throwing out my opinion, I wouldn't take the route you are taking. I would've started with an awd car but hey you do what you gotta do right!

Haters gonna hate...

Good luck with your build, I had a 99 RS that I turbo'ed about 6 years ago now. Was a fun car/project. I just sold my 03 Evo and am kind of thinking of getting into another 2gnt for a cheaper daily. They are good cars and very reliable.

Why is it there's always Internet warriors and haters always thought it was the fun of working on stuff I must be wrong.

It's initiation, gotta bust your balls and see if you can take it. You are going to get shit on this site, but you will be accepted in after a while. Pretty tight site.

Also, many of us have 1st hand experience of the FWD thing. If you are staying under 300whp it is pretty fun, but over that you just spin so damn much it ends up pissing you off and wondering why you put the money in a FWD. It isn't as bad with a 4g63 FWD, but with the 420a you are going to be pissed off cuz you can't use the parts in a GSX. Give it 2 years and you will be saying you wish you would have listened to us. Seen it many times before :P

Welcome!

I think the fast and the furious reference was because of the blitzs body kit and altezza tails.

I'd also would not build that car up to 400 being FWD it's just gonna spin. But good luck and to each there own. I just look at it is the money not spent on this build could buy a pretty sweet gsx.

I may know someone that has a few at his house to

Re: What's up guys new guy checking in

I would just put that new 420a in there. Sell it then buy a gsx or tsi awd. They are stupid cheap now days.

What's a cloud swap? Like are you moving to the cloud? Are you saying your a techie? Maybe you meant clown car?

Btw, THIS IS SPARTA!
(Insert kick picture)

Re: What's up guys new guy checking in

The cloud swap is the 2.4 block with srt internals. I do plan on selling it after its built sooo many ppl around town want one its funny. And the hp goal is just a rough ballpark so if I just hit say 300 I would be happy. What's wrong with 3 400 hp in a fwd car seen it a lot when I had my civic they would just run a larger tire on the track. I'm not gona do it for the biggest badest car I'm doing it cause I think it would be fun to build something that normally don't get built.

Good luck. It seems like you are young so it should be a good learning car to make a few mistakes on. We all had those.

I myself am trying out a fwd after having 3 AWD's.

Re: What's up guys new guy checking in

Hey y'all My name is Adam I am new to this site. Just bought a 98' Spyder. I am very satisfied with it. Never seen a winter so there is no rust what so ever. Pretty fun little car to drive. Wish i have invested in the turbo but this one still turns heads. Probably not going to put a whole hell of a lot of work into it off the bat but eventually plan on doing a bit of work to it. I don't know as much about cars as most of you but I get some of what your talking about. Mostly looking for some peeps to cruise with on the weekends if thats what happens. Keep me informed if y'all have a meet up on the weekends.
