Yup, I'm getting ready to put the motor in. What can you tell me about the harness? I saw the 1g and 2g maf/mas connectors, have you rewired the fuel pump?

Re: 1g 6 bolt 4g63 tsi build
So I bought a used motor, a stock 4G63T from a 91 Laser FWD. Almost had to take the door off my temporary daily driver, to fit it in.

Saving up for Ecmlink. Decided to drive it on the first snow, bad idea. All my hard work down the drain.

Time for a new shell, a 94 1gb. Formerly had belonged Scheides, and Goodhart. Thanks Lingling!

Thanks, I was desperate. The guy I bought the motor from thought I was crazy when I was trying to load it.

Re: 1g 6 bolt 4g63 tsi build
If you are just running a small 16g there is no reason for a FP manifold or SMIM. Save yourself some money and skip those for now. They are very easy to do later if you decide to go with a bigger turbo. Do you already have the small 16g?

Yeah I have the small 16g. I got the SMIM with the shell I bought. My stock exhaust manifold is cracked, and I dont want to buy a cheap ebay manifold or another crack proned stock manifold. The FP manifold is great quality and not too expensive.

Re: 1g 6 bolt 4g63 tsi build
Sell the smim, and buy an FP manifold. A SMIM will prob do more hurt than good with that small of a turbo. Depending on the SMIM (which is JMF if I'm not mistaken), you prob will still have money leftover for your build.

Ill take your advice, I just love the look of the SMIM vs a stock intake manifold. Ill take some pics and put it up for sale. Thanks

I think I still have matching rear floor mats for this also. If I find them, you can have them.
