Full Blown's Evo X project
Heres's and evo x with a blown motor that we picked up. Don't know what exactly happened but theres a nice hole in the block. Luckily the head only had a few bent valves. We are building a new motor from top to bottom. The setup will consist of..
Stock sleeve 4b11t
CP Pistons
BC 1000hp rods
Supertech vs/ret
arp studs
Full Blown Dual pumps
We will be testing different a few different combination of turbos with our manifolds.

Re: Full Blown's Evo X project
Sounds similar to my build on my X...in fact that hole is roughly where mine is I am guessing, we will know for sure this week.
Looking good though, in for this one for sure!
So E85 I am guessing since you are using the double pumper?
What turbo you planning on running?

Re: Full Blown's Evo X project
Not quite sure on the choice of turbo yet. The plan is to design a few kits for it. So we will be using stock turbo, 58 billet, then a 62 billet. We will be using E85 on this car.

Ah, cool, so you guys are designing your own kit huh? Well that is badass.
PM me if you want another tester for a variant...if the price is right I'd consider it.

Re: Full Blown's Evo X project
Like I said, if you need another X with a built motor testing one out, I'd be willing probably

If my BBX has blown seals then I'll obviously need an upgrade...

Good to see this car getting put back to greatness. I think you need to keep that sweet axleback that was on there though.

LoL that was the first thing to go. I tried to yank it off before the tow truck even came.

Are you painting it black like all the other cars?

Re: Full Blown's Evo X project
I wish this car was black. We had to sacrifice the color for the price.

Re: Full Blown's Evo X project
Yeah, the price was definitely right, I was really tempted to buy it but I have too many projects already. It's a great car that just needs a few things besides the motor work to be really nice. It was the perfect starting point for a nice build up.
