I'd trade a 22 spline T-case for one of those 14Bs

Re: A few Mint Condition Turbos 13B, 14B, GT3076
I'm guessing the 3076 is an Ebay brand turbo? similar to a 'Evo III GT' or whatever they are?

that's the clipped 14b. supposed to spool up faster and hold boost longer by eliminating drag off the blades

I sure hope that isn't the compressor blade being "clipped"... is the regular 14b ok?

Re: A few Mint Condition Turbos 13B, 14B, GT3076
it should be on the intake side for a clipped turbo, ive never clipped the intake blades or ever seen a turbo with chipped blades, you always clip the exhaust blades

Re: A few Mint Condition Turbos 13B, 14B, GT3076
I know the one pictured still on the car is good, that is if it's the one off the crimson 90 gsx. That was my friend erics old car, and that turbo was mint when I checked last.

the regular 14b is just fine and on a running car I can vouch for that

Re: A few Mint Condition Turbos 13B, 14B, GT3076
So my friend picked up this "clipped" 14b and it's a joke. I guess square edged blades help hold boost longer and spoolup? And I didn't know he was going to pick the "clipped" one up 'til I was going to help him install it. Also, the exhaust housing clamp is all janky and doesn't clamp... mint, no way. AFAIK,this guy doesn't wanna give him his money back. Great seller...not. Way to take advantage of someone who is new to the DSM scene(my friend, not me cause I would've not bought the pos).

+1, I heard about that too.
I'm gonna think twice about that red gsx your selling now too. Last time we came to check the car out the description was VERY inaccurate.

I listed and sold that turbo by how it was described and sold to me. It is a clipped 14B done by Pann auto in San Diego. I paid 300 for that thing. The clamp was fine maybe you just don't know how to tighten it down. The MINT part was about how little play there is in the turbos. If you really have that big of a problem with it give me a call 320-295-1246. Don't talk shit about my red gsx either. It was done right now and the posting is completely accurate.
