Needs to find better competition. The 300ZX was the only thing close.

Re: dsm turning some serious rpms
Holy crap. I would say a turbo charged camaro, and a super charged camaro are good competition, I just think his car is that fast. That fly by was insane. He was gone like the dude was sitting still.

Re: dsm turning some serious rpms
It looks light and sounds like a dog box. I like it. Looks like Lexan in the back too.

Re: dsm turning some serious rpms
Very impressive! That car has to be light and I agree that is the only flyby I have seen where the car actually looked fast, that thing rips!

Re: dsm turning some serious rpms
Yea if you watch that groups other vids you get a feeling for how fast the turbo camaro and supercharged camaro really are. Not slow by any means.
Somewhere in one of the comments the guy said he builds his own trannies himself using the usual double synchro treatments.

Re: dsm turning some serious rpms
^ I don't know about that.
He upgraded to a 40R and is in the 9s.
I watched that build and everytime I read it, it makes me want to go fast So I stopped reading most DSM builds.

I checked for you sir, and it was in talk of PMs with him that he said about getting into the 9s with his now current setup, but he broke clutchs and clutch pedal so he hasn't gotten a clean pass.

I thought I saw a vid somewhere of a 9s run, but I could be mistaken.
And yeah, Ted's car is awesome.

So, I dunno if he says anything about it in his threads, but where in the videos does it say anything about rpms?
