"As it sits, it (Evo X MR) flat spanked the $85,000 Porsche and walked all over the little Lotus." hehe

I saw this this morning too, Every article I've read lately on the MR has praised the Tranny. I would like to drive one to see what they are like!

Kick ass article! I love how the evo is mentioned 'if it has an extra 75horsepower' like most evos will with a few mods on them....just makes me love the mitsu even more!

GTR looks sweet though!

I like this not only because the evo X MR came in third but because the STI came in last hehe!!

My favorite quote: If success in this test were measured in adrenaline production or outright fear of death, the Elise wins hands-down.

I found it interesting though that the differences between them were pretty small, most within a couple seconds of each other.

Also the Evo had the slowest 0-60 and 1/4 mile times.

Within a couple seconds? A couple seconds is a huge difference in power when it comes to 0-60 and 1/4 mile times.

I disagree when they tested the 911, they should have tested the 911TT. The audi was 120k...

That's because Audi doesn't make anything affordable AND competitive. :P You're right though. With the large spread in their budget they should have gone for the turbo version.

I meant in the longest test, the mountain road. 3 of the cars were 2:09 or 2:10, the other three were 2:04-2:06.

You haven't been road racing before evidentally. .5 seconds a lap in road racing is huge! 5 seconds on a 2 minute coarse is a massive amount of time.

S4, S5, S6, RS4... Not really affordable but all less than the 911.
