7-Bolt FAIL

So one of my buddies picked up a green 96 GSX 5 speed, body 8/10, rustfree 9/10, with (recently) several thousand dollars of maintence on wear parts (turbo, ball joints, harmonic balancer....etc)

The car came with every available option for the 96 model year.

Aside from the blown motor. the car is basically perfect.

$500.

Re: 7-Bolt FAIL

The starter got smashed to all hell by the flying rod, quite impressive. There are also two more holes on the front of the block where the rod(s,?) punched through.

PS, I have the block disconnected from the transmission but the oil pan is so smashed down against the transfer case that nothing will budge.

hmm. I think i might know who you are talking about. I spoke with him at Shell Gas Station. I was in a 2g red gsx, and he told me about this and that you were his friend.
