FWD To AWD Question.

Its a stupid question I know but please dont flame. I want to make my spyder AWD. Right now its broken and cant afford everything I need for it. So lets pretend I have the rear 1/2 of an AWD car just sitting around. Could I put the Tank, suspension and rear subframe on my FWD and run just that until I can afford to get the rest?

Re: FWD To AWD Question.

I know what all is required(I have read 1000 articles) BUT I was seeing if I could run the AWD rear stuff without the diff and axels(and no AWD tranny/tcase/driveshaft)

Re: FWD To AWD Question.

I have honestly thought about that. But that would be alot of work for a garage job. But fun. But dont you have to have Auto for a RWD?
