Is Spray Gay or Maybe the Way?

Please stop me me before I do something else stupid here again......

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ZEX-W...42922289QQrdZ1

Nice Wet kit, Nice price, free shipping, but I know nothing about spray, so I'll just melt down my motor and be even slower?

How could this option play out?

I know I need to get my farkin FAT Pig A/T worked on, <Stall, shiftkit & end clutches> but this looks like such a quick, and cheap short cut, it's hard to resist.

PLEASE try to talk me out of it by describing what will happen to me, the car and public at large if my n00b ass installs this Wet kit on my FAT A/T PIG!

I plan to use a small 35-ish shot on my car. I plan on having a restalled stock converter and the TCUGO shift deal as well. The turbo I have is a SCM61. I plan an spraying from 3100-5300 RPMs using a rpm window device.

An <Glulp> SCM61 you say?

Wouldn't you want to spray that Monster right out of the hole to cut your lag down on that A/T or?

spray too early and you're gonna be breaking stuff. anything 3k or above is a good rule when to spray, don't hit the limiter either....hence window switches.

Im thinking that hes mainly going to be using it for launchs. I would definatly say get a higher stall first, Get a TCUgo manual shifter, (wait for my review first though ) and after that, i would say that it would be a good thing for the spray, just dont go wild and get a 200 shot dual fogger system. LOL

Ok, Ecoli needs to weigh in on this one cause he suggested that an early spray was a good way to get a Big turbo to spool up quicker on a A/T....???

Re: Is Spray Gay or Maybe the Way?

What turbo are you running? If you still have the stock turbo take the money and buy a bigger turbo for your car. I don't know many people use NOS in the DSM community.

Re: Is Spray Gay or Maybe the Way?

I had an NX system on my GVR4. Had a WOT and RPM window switch. Sprayed from 3800-6800 most of the time I had it. 75 shot. Be reasonable and do a lot of research before you buy.
