I hate big engines but that is a sweet ride just for fit-n-finish.

Re: the germans build WAY better cobras than us
That kind of power at that high of an RPM would be impossible to make with a standard valve layout 780 cube big block Chevrolet. Without some Big Cheifs and two Dominators I would have to see some actual dyno printouts to even start believing it would turn 8,000rpms making that kind of power...especially with an old school Offy intake.

Did you see that the hood scoop is actually functional on this car? a.k.a the exact opposite of the definition of rice

Yeah, I don't believe the rpm limit either. BBC's just don't have that range, even with a super light rotating assembly, which would be impossible with that big of pistons.

I would also like to see dyno results. Not because I doubt the validity of their claims, but you know, just cause...

Re: the germans build WAY better cobras than us
I'm sure you guys know about "Big Red". 540ci BBC that turns 8000rpm for hours. Max power at 7000rpm. I would think that the same would be possible of this engine.

Re: the germans build WAY better cobras than us
especially since its all made in-house. now unless they have a foundry, that means its all cnc'd billet. and then who knows, case hardened, shot peened, etc etc. i would also like to see a video of said car.
but until it is otherwise disproven it shall remain BADASS

Re: the germans build WAY better cobras than us
Well, there are engines that are 200 CI smaller and make just as much N/A hp and rev higher. seems to me they actually just put a stupid huge engine in a small car. anyone can do that. it probably wieghs 3500 lbs.
Germans suck, i'll post why in a different thread.

Re: the germans build WAY better cobras than us
I've always liked the Cobra's. Just I would one with a '03 Cobra motor and make 600hp with a supercharger. Might be a bit more driveable and reliable than a 11.5:1 compression and always having to run race gas. But fun none the less.
